Pressure Epoxy Injection for Concrete Repair

Epoxy injection for concrete repair is a permanent structural preservation procedure used for crack repairs. During this process, the epoxy injection strengthens the concrete while repairing and filling in structural cracks. The cracks are welded together with the epoxy material that’s been forced through cracks under pressure, which forms a bond that is stronger than the concrete itself. At Maintenance Solutions, we have over 20 years of experience with this procedure, making it easy to trust our experts with your repair project.

Structural Benefits of Using Pressure Epoxy

The pressure epoxy process is the industry-leading method for mending cracks. One of the main benefits is the injected epoxy resin strengthens the integrity of the concrete. The resin also seals off cracks and prevents future damage, becoming a preventative and permanent solution that is perfect for commercial industries. This structural repair can be applied to foundations, concrete floors, tilt-walls, commercial parking garages, and industrial structures.

Process of Using Epoxy for Concrete Repair

We are certified in custom pressure epoxy injection for concrete repair, which includes 4 easy steps: install, seal, inject, and remove. We start with installing injection ports directly over the crack(s) that bond to the surface with an epoxy paste. This step eliminates the need to drill into the concrete, effectively reducing labor time and cleanup. Next, we seal the surface by using an epoxy adhesive over the ports and exposed cracks. The paste provides a surface seal, with excellent bond characteristics, that holds up under injection pressures. Once sealed, we begin injecting epoxy or urethane into the lowest point port, repeating this procedure until the entire crack has been filled. After waiting 24 hours, the injection ports can be removed to reveal the epoxy or polyurethane that has penetrated into the cracks.
